Read our wholesale terms

  1. We accept major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover), checks and money orders for the full amount of purchase. For payment by check or money order, please see payment for more details.
  2. We have confidence that you'll be happy with your order--but if for any reason you wish to return it, you can be assured that we stand behind everything we stock. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you may return it for a full refund. We value your business and wish to make ordering from us as easy and enjoyable as possible.
  3. We offer a 30-day unconditional money back guarantee on retail orders for most stock items. There are a few exceptions, which still carry an unconditional 14-day return policy (listed below). Live trees and plants, artificial trees and Vietnamese silk lanterns, have a 7-day return policy. Items which are custom made to order (such as Artificial trees and custom artwork requests), cannot be returned due to their custom-made nature.

    Patio umbrellas come with a 30-day return policy, but also require a $25.00 restocking fee.

    Our Asian Bedding is custom made to order and we cannot accept returns on Bedding (bedspreads, duvet covers, blankets and pillows). Other custom made orders are also not refundable.

    If you are not fully satisfied with your order you may send it back to us (at your expense) for a full refund, minus original shipping expenses. You must contact us before returning your order. For more detailed information about returns, please see our Returns Policy.
  4. Oriental-Decor.com will accept exchanges if we are notified within 14 days of receiving your order. Please let us know the item you wish to exchange and we will provide instructions on how to complete the exchange. The customer is responsible for all paying all shipping charges when sending the item/s back to us for exchange. The customer is also responsible for paying shipping charges on the new item that is being exchanged for plus a $3 restocking fee for warehouse charges (patio umbrellas and bonsai trees carry a $25 restocking fee). Please note that Asian Bedding items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  5. Many of the items we sell on our site are original works of art. We reserve all rights to this original artwork, and our designs may not be copied or resold without prior consent. If you wish to sell our products on the internet, we offer a generous drop-ship program. Please contact us by phone or email for details.
  6. Images displayed in digital format can vary in color depending on your computer settings, browser, and other factors. Unavoidably, the colors displayed on your monitor may differ slightly from those of the actual product.
  7. Many of the items we sell can be constructed with custom designs and made in bigger or smaller sizes. For custom designed art, please contact us for rates. We can do custom paintings, fans, umbrellas, patio umbrellas, and even custom bedding from your photos, as well as many other custom items.
  8. We can ship to most countries in the world. Shipping zones outside of the continental U.S. may require additional shipping charges. For certain products that we sell, such as bonsai trees, furniture (not including patio umbrellas), Japanese lamps, bamboo rugs, water fountains, Oriental area rugs, statues, vases and shoji screens, please contact us by phone or email for a shipping rate. * Please note that we cannot be responsible for VAT, duties or customs charges which may be applied by your country.
  9. We can ship some, but not all items to APO and other military addresses. We provide a tracking number up to the point where the package arrives at the APO hub. After this, we have no way to control or track the package, and in our experience it can often take several additional weeks or longer for the package to finally arrive to you. Because of this we can not guarentee package delivery beyond the APO hub. It is far better to provide us with a non-military address when possible to avoid non-refundable loss or damage to your items.
  10. While we carry a full inventory of all our products, some may go out of stock from time to time. Please be aware that on occasion an ordered item may require up to several weeks to ship if it is on back order. We will let you know if an item is on back order within two days after you place your order. Fortunately back ordered items are rare.
  11. In the event of damage or breakage in the shipping process we will issue a call tag for the carrier to retrieve the product and replace it free of charge. Please save all original packaging, as the carrier must have this on all claims. For more detailed information about returns, please see our returns policy.
  12. For international orders, Oriental-Decor.com is not responsible for any possible customs fees, taxes, duties and/or brokerage fees imposed by your country. If imposed, these fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.
  13. Upon request, and where it is possible, we can send orders with expedited shipping service. This can be overnight, second day air or three day air. In some instances Saturday delivery is possible if requested. Please note that even if we ship on the date promised or agreed upon, we will not take responsibility for any expedited shipments that do not arrive by the expected delivery date. Once a package leaves our warehouse, we unfortunately have no control over its progress, as it is the carrier's responsibility at that point. If an expedited package is not delivered on the expected delivery date, we will do our best to recoup the funds from the carrier and refund you for shipping. However, please understand it is up to the discretion of the carrier to refund for shipping or not in these circumstances. If, however, am expedited shipment does not arrive because of a mistake on our part, we will refund you for the shipping.

Discounts and Promotions

Periodically, Oriental-Decor.com will conduct promotions or sales on a particular items. This is often a promotion whereby a customer purchasing the second item in the same product category is entitled to 50% off the website price. The "second item" in all such offers refers to the lowest priced item, including all item options. Offer EXCLUDES custom made items and those listed in the "One of a Kind" Deals and Specials category.

From time to time we also offer website coupons and discount codes. In all cases, these discount codes are valid only in isolation from any other discount or special, and cannot be combined with any other promotions or sales.

Dropshipping

We offer a generous dropship program for several of our products, including patio umbrellas, jewelry and wall fans. If you own a website and would like to place any of these items on it for dropshipping, please email us for consideration.

Returns Policy

Oriental-Decor.com will accept returns on retail sales within 30 days of your receiving the item/s with the following exceptions:

  1. Shoji Screens, Chinese and Japanese silk paintings, Buddhist Statues, Japanese Lamps, Chinese Lamps, Vases, Boxes and Trunks, Geisha Dolls, Serving Trays, Tatami Mats, Bamboo Rugs and Asian Style Furniture have a 14-day return time.
  2. Bedding items have a 14-day return time but can only be returned or exchanged if the package is unopened.
  3. Live and artificial trees, as well as silk lanterns have a 7-day return policy.
  4. Shipping charges will not be refunded and you must pay postage to return the item/s.

If you receive an item damaged in shipping, we will file a claim with the shipper and we will replace the item at no cost to you. If this is the case, you must save all shipping materials for inspection by the carrier. In order to ensure a full and prompt refund, please contact us before returning your item/s. Please do not send us returns before contacting us! We will let you know where to return your item/s after you contact us. All item/s returned to us must be in the same condition as to when they were received for a full refund. For all patio umbrella and bonsai tree returns there is a $25 restocking fee.

The amount of refunds will be adjusted to account for any discount codes, quantity discounts, sales or specials which were applicable to the original order. If your order was purchased with a "free shipping" coupon or during a "free shipping" sale, then the associated shipping cost to send your order will be deducted from your refund.

Security

All orders placed online or by phone are confidential. We respect your right to privacy and do not sell or give your information to any others.

We use an SSL secure server, enabled with a Security Certificate which encrypts all sensitive information such as credit card numbers. This is the internet standard for assuring the safety of credit card transactions over the net.
Credit card transactions are processed by www.authorize.net, the internet's leading merchant payment gateway. Your credit card information is never stored in any form on our servers.
