This breath-taking Chinese lamp features a wonderful blue and white landscape design on its porcelain body. The design was inspired by the art from the Ming dynasty. A similar design can be found on our porcelain vases and Chinese fish bowls. This porcelain lamp is quite unique in that it is shaped in a "moon vase" design. This moon vase design was popular during the Qing and Ming periods in ancient China. A dark cherry base holds the lamp, which creates a wonderful contrast. The shade of the lamp is made of sateen and has a beautiful modern shape. Underneath it can take up to a 100-watt 3-way light bulb. Simply set this lamp on any flat surface, plug in and turn on for marvelous Asian decoration and lighting.
