This hanging lantern from Japanese culture has a modern, yet antique look. It is made with dark wood and washi paper. The wooden frames look a bit rustic and old fashioned, along with the tan-looking washi paper. This Japanese lantern can be installed yourself, right out of the box. No electrician is necessary. Just plug it into an outlet and hang the cord on a hooked screw in the ceiling. You can hang this lantern in any part of your home. You may find it to look best in bedrooms and dining rooms. If you have dark wood furniture in your living area, you may like to hang it there as well. The great thing about it, is that you can move it around as much as you want with ease, so you actually see how it looks in each room and which it fits best in. The Japanese lantern comes with a 65 inch cord, making it easier to find a place in the middle of a room. If you want the cord to be invisible, you can hire an electrician to install it directly into the ceiling. It's triangular form has the dimensions of nine inches wide, nine inches in diameter and 13.5 inches tall.
