Proud Peacocks

The peahen will actually choose its mating partner according to the color, length and width of the male's tail. The peacock is a social bird and likes to stay in groups. Left alone they can become depressed. Although amazing-looking creatures, they make a very unpleasant sound that is not fun to hear for humans. In the wild, peacocks can live up to 20 years but are currently an endangered species.
