Translated into "sewn seat" or "cushion for sitting" a zafu is a rounded cushion that is best associated with the practice of meditation. One variation of the regular zafu is the crescent zafu, designed to provide better leg support for practitioners of Zen meditation. This Bamboo Crescent Zafu from the Crescent Zafus collection is created using 100% cotton duck shell and printed with a classic bamboo motif. It has double-stitched seams for added durability. Stuffing choices include Kapok or Buckwheat Hull depending on your preference. This crescent zafu is an excellent alternative to the usual round-shaped zafu used by meditation teachers and students.
