A poem in crisp Chinese calligraphy completes this lovely hand-painted landscape scene. Fujian lacquer is applied in 7 layers using a rare matte style that gives this piece an heirloom finish. The top is also colorfully painted with several figures. Two front doors open to an inside space of 19"W x 15"D x 22"H finished in a flat black, with no shelves. The inside dimensions of the drawer are 18"W x 5"D x 13"L. The drawer is lined in brown felt.
