Kabuki is a stylized, Japanese, stage drama featuring choreographed dance, and is known for the elaborate costumes worn by performers. This Kabuki Warrior confronts us with a classic mask of fearsome and melodramatic red warrior paint, weapons drawn. His robes billow around him as we lock eyes at the peak of his performance. This is not a passageway for the faint of heart, and we get the idea that something great lies beyond this doorway; in that sense the Kabuki Warrior becomes inviting. This Japanese noren is slit down the middle to help your passage, and is sewn in a sturdy cotton-rayon blend. Traditionally, these hanging door curtains were used by Japanese merchants to attract passersby, letting them know that a shop was open for business. The Kabuki Warrior Noren is "cut from the same cloth," if you will, guaranteed to draw the attention of anyone going past, or going through. Our norens will help you create unique spaces in your home or business. They install in a flash in any standard doorway; just hang with a tension rod. Use two or more to create a thematic atmosphere, or hang multiple norens together to cover larger spaces. They are the perfect way to create privacy while adding a decorative flair to your décor.
